The principals: Mr. Moran and Mr. Romero met at IE Business School and have both worked together as group mates during their MBA, working beside each other for more than 4 months in different courses such as strategy, corporate finance, among others, facing different challenges over that period. That time has provided them with extensive knowledge about their work ethic, and their compatibility as working professionals.

Career: Oscar Romero is the co-founder and joint principal of Guise Capital. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at BD Capital in Lima, Peru, where he managed over USD 60 million in financial operations for clients across various industries in Latin America. Afterward, he became Operations Manager at Romero-Torres, a furniture design company serving global brands like Armani and Tommy Hilfiger. In 2020, he founded RBA, a trade marketing agency, and later established TranviaTech, a medical software company that won the Johns Hopkins FastForwardU Ignite Grant.
Interesting Fact: Oscar was a basketball star athlete: his early life was centered around basketball, which he began playing at age seven. He played for Lima's Regatas club for 15 years, serving as one of the three team captains and competing in regional, national, and South American tournaments. His commitment to the sport led him to travel extensively and compete against top teams in the region. The bonds he formed with his teammates have remained strong, shaping both his athletic and personal development

Career: Caspar Moran is the co-founder and joint principal of Guise Capital. Before this, he worked for a private family office in London, managing a team of over 15 and overseeing real assets worth USD 5 billion. He led a real estate development team with projects valued at over USD 300 million, achieving a 37% portfolio performance increase and specializing in Impact Investing, including an eco-safari lodge in Sub-Saharan Africa. Moran began his career at Knight Frank in London and Dubai, advising on international real estate investments and co-founding a rapidly growing real estate technology service. He holds degrees in Politics and Economics, International Real Estate, and an MBA, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Interesting Fact: Caspar first job was as a model: a chance encounter in Zara in Covent Garden, London resulted in Caspar at the age of 18 signing a modelling contract and balancing his studies at university with an international modelling career spanning The UK, Europe and The US. He worked with brands such as Superdry, Alexander McQueen, Missoni and Vivienne Westwood - although he didn't love being in front of the camera, he loved the free travel.
